The tension reached a breaking point when he was booed off the pitch by disgruntled fans at Wembley Stadium after a game. @UtdParadigm, a fan page on X (formerly Twitter), condemned the abuse Rashford was facing on social media and at games, calling it “absolutely disgusting” and “cruel.” In agreement with this sentiment, Rashford, who has blacked out his X profile picture and cover picture, responded that the treatment he has been receiving is unacceptable, referring to it as abuse that has persisted for months.
He also expressed appreciation for the support he has received.
