Adidas resolves Man Utd kit issues after Andre Onana complaints

Andre Onana reportedly complained about the tightness of his strip. Adidas have reportedly addressed Manchester United’s kit issues, which led some players to wear replica shirts instead of player-made versions at the start of the season. Several players were reportedly unhappy with the fit of their kit and lodged complaints with the manufacturer.

Pressure has increased on Erik ten Hag due to the club’s struggles, which aren’t only performance-related. Earlier in the season, United stars were reportedly dissatisfied with elements of their kits, specifically their home socks. As a result, the goalkeeper also chose to wear a replica version, but adjustments have now been made.

According to the Daily Mail, Adidas have made ‘light amendments’ to their kits as well as the official player-issued strips. The matter was expected to be resolved by December, but it took longer than initially anticipated, with the changes recently coming into effect. This means that the kits have the same material and quality as before.

The Manchester United players are set to wear the player-issued kits for the upcoming match against Aston Villa. Ten Hag’s team goes into the match in good form after winning their last two matches, defeating Wolves 4-3 and securing a victory against West Ham. Rasmus Hojlund opened the scoring against West Ham, and Alejandro Garnacho impressed with goals on either side of half-time.

The 19-year-old has scored five goals and assisted two in 21 Premier League appearances this season, establishing himself as Ten Hag’s first-choice option on the right wing.
